OCLC now offers PsycCRITIQUES, a database of full-text reviews of current books, some popular films, videos and software, as well as comparative reviews of books. It replaced the American Psychological Association (APA) print journal Contemporary Psychology: APA Review of Books as of January 2005. Weekly releases of approximately 15-20 reviews that include current year copyright book reviews will be added to the database. PsycCRITIQUES also includes a backfile of more than 5,000 Contemporary Psychology reviews from 1995-2004. The new database takes advantage of the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms.
