38th Annual ILL Conference Scheduled for April in Colorado

Register now for the 38th Annual Interlibrary Loan Conference, Reaching for the Peak of Resource Sharing, being held April 26-27, 2007, at the Antlers Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. An exciting line up of speakers and events are scheduled.

Highlights include:

  • Reggie Rivers, former Denver Bronco and avid library supporter, will be the Thursday keynote speaker.
  • Joan Stein, head of Resource Sharing at Carnegie Mellon University, will speak on issues in international Interlibrary Loan.
  • Lori Ayre, project manager and founder of the Galecia Group, will speak on delivery issues.
  • James Boyle, professor of law at Duke Law School and co-founder of the Center for the Study of the Public Domain, will speak on copyright issues and the “Creative Commons.”

The registration fee is affordable at only $85 for the two-day conference. A free preconference on Wednesday, April 25, will have sessions for the Colorado users, and ILLiad will have a user’s group meeting Friday afternoon.
