New Peer Groups Added to WorldCat Collection Analysis
OCLC WorldCat Collection Analysis now offers new Predefined Peer Groups for comparing your library's collection to notable collections in Ireland and Australia. The new groups include:
- Irish Research Libraries — An aggregate of the top seven research collections in Ireland as ranked by The Sunday Times.
- The Australian Group of Eight — An aggregate of eight leading Australian universities’ collections.
- Australian Innovative Research Universities (IRUs) — An aggregate of the collections of six Australian universities known for their research performance and innovation.
WorldCat Collection Analysis will continue to add Predefined Peer Groups to better enable subscribers to assess their collection and collection development policies.
To add a Predefined Peer Group, log in to the administration module of WorldCat Collection Analysis.
- Click on the Collection Analysis tab
- Click on the Predefined Groups sidebar tab
- Choose a Category, Subcategory and Predefined Group
- Click the Add button
- Click the Save Changes button
