Resumption of OCLC Loading of LC Name Authority Files
OCLC has announced that all Library of Congress (LC) name distribution authority files up to and including 20070102 have been successfully loaded into OCLC systems and are available to Connexion and Z39.50 users.
There may be some residual issues related to the locks on some of the records. If an authority record appears to be incorrectly locked, please contact OCLC Quality Control staff at authfile@oclc.org, and include in the message the OCLC ARN of the locked record.
OCLC staff anticipates that subject authority files will be loaded later. Please watch for news about the successful loading of those files.
