Colorado Academic Library Consortium Conference

Register now for "Changing Cultures: Collaboration, Social Networking and New Technologies," being held May 31-June 1 in Denver. This academic library summit, co-sponsored by the Colorado Academic Library Consortium (CALC), BCR and others, will feature programs focused on the Millennials and how they are affecting the academic library workplace as well as how faculty and librarians can reach out to them.

Keynote speakers include Joan Lippincott, associate executive director of the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) and co-author of “Net Generation Students and Libraries” in Educating the Net Generation and Carie Windham, author of the recent Getting Past Google: Perspectives on Information Literacy from the Millennial Mind. Shelly Drumm, BCR's new emergent technologies trainer, also will be providing a session, along with many other presenters from Colorado, Kansas, South Dakota and Utah.
