Register Now! Annual Interlibrary Loan Conference
Register now for "Reaching for the Peak of Resource Sharing," the 38th Annual Interlibrary Loan Conference, April 26-27, 2007, Colorado Springs!
An exciting line up of speakers and events are scheduled:
- Reggie Rivers, former Denver Bronco, local sportscaster and avid library supporter, will be the Thursday keynote speaker.
- Joan Stein, head of Resource Sharing at Carnegie Mellon University, will present “Practice Makes Perfect: Advancing International Interlibrary Loan and the Role of the IFLA Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Section.”
- Lori Ayre, project manager and founder of the Galecia Group, will give a presentation on delivery issues titled “Delivery 2.0.”
- Friday's keynote speaker Michael Carroll, associate professor of Law at Villanova University School or Law, will discuss Creative Commons.
- You will have the opportunity to hear presentations from vendors and an annual update session from OCLC.
- There will also be an update on Rethinking Resource Sharing.
- ILLiad will have a user’s group meeting Friday afternoon.
The pre-conference on Wednesday, April 25, will have sessions for the Colorado Courier Users Group and the SWIFT Users Group. The pre-conference is free.
