Training Discounts through BCR and New Horizons Partnership
BCR and New Horizons Computer Learning Centers have partnered to offer discounts on online and in-person training for librarians throughout the BCR region. Staff at BCR member libraries now can take advantage of the many New Horizons training courses and save. New Horizons offers more courses, at more times and in more locations than most companies in the computer training industry.
The in-person training coupons offer an approximate 20 percent savings. In-person Application and Technical training courses are available at New Horizons locations throughout the country. Applications courses include Microsoft Office products, graphics and Internet courses. The technical courses include Microsoft, Novell, CompTIA, Cisco and others.
Online training coupons offer a 15 percent discount. These coupons can be used for either Online LIVE or Online ANYTIME workshops. Online LIVE is a comprehensive and convenient way to learn with live, expert instruction on the Web. Online ANYTIME courses are available when you are, any time of the day or night.
Libraries can prepurchase in-person training coupons and use them at a later time, or the coupons can be purchased at the time of registration. The online training coupons only may be purchased at the time of registration. All coupons expire one year from the date of purchase.
