Z39.50 sites that use the short name psi3 for this database will not need to make any changes to their implementations for continued access to this database. Only Z39.50 sites that use the entire database name must replace PsycINFO_1887 with either PsycINFO or psi3 for continued access.

(If your Z39.50 access requires you to continue using the longer database name, you will need to change the name in your files after May 13, the scheduled date for database name change. Changing access to the short name psi3 can occur at any time, as this name remained active through the scheduled May 13 change in the Web interface.)

Libraries that use the automatic logon capability through either IP-address recognition or the OCLC WebScript CGI application to access FirstSearch will not need to make any changes to their URLs or scripts. OCLC will take care of the name change by creating an alias for the database name.
