Subscribers Moved to Newly Created FirstSearch Listserv
To correct the problems OCLC has experienced with the FirstSearch-L listserv, OCLC has created a new OCLC-FirstSearch-L listserv with the same membership list. No action is required from subscribers to remain in this list. OCLC-FirstSearch-L will be subscribers' source for receiving the latest updates and news about the OCLC FirstSearch service.
Subscribers may leave the list at any time by sending a "SIGNOFF OCLC-FirstSearch-L" command to LISTSERV@OCLC.ORG. Subscribers may also temporarily disable mail delivery by sending a "SET OCLC-FirstSearch-L NOMAIL" command. This is useful when when going on vacation or any other times subscribers may not have access to e-mail for an extended period. To resume receiving posts, sending the command "SET OCLC-FirstSearch-L MAIL".
OCLC apologizes for the earlier problems with the original list, and looks forward to being subscribers' source of information on OCLC FirstSearch for some time to come.
