Take Advantage of Expanded Training Opportunities

BCR members have access to a variety of training options through BCR's training program. One valuable resource is the Network Educational Exchange (NEE), a cooperative program of the education services of the Alliance of Library Services Networks. An updated schedule is now available. Check out some of the workshops your BCR membership allows you to access.

Upcoming workshops in the NEE schedule include topics such as Weeding Your Library, Risk Management: Knowing your Responsibilities; Collaborating with Faculty in Information Literacy Programs; Kids Stuff on the Web; and much more. Library staff in any of BCR's member states may enroll in designated online workshops at any of the other currently participating networks and pay that network's member rates for the workshop. Students register directly with the sponsoring network. The only caveat is that students are required to pay by credit card.

Visit the BCR training partners Web page to learn more and to access the full list of NEE workshops available to all BCR member libraries. Questions? Contact Regan Harper (rharper@bcr.org) at BCR.
