Greenwood's American Mosaic Databases Focus of BCR Online Session
Greenwood Publishing Group's American Mosaic resources allow you to offer your researchers a wide ranging and easy-to-use library on the multiethnic American experience. Learn more about these resources at a BCR Products and Services Showcase on October 9, 10-11 a.m. or 1-2 p.m. Greenwood's Brien McDonald will present these informative sessions.
Current modules of American Mosaic include "The African American Experience" (a 2006 Library Journal Best Reference) and "The Latino American Experience" (released in April 2007). The Mosaic will soon grow to include "The Native American Experience" (fall 2008). Each of these resources is designed and developed under the guidance of an advisory board of specialist librarians and scholars and updated twice a year with new content and enhanced functionality.
BCR's informative PSS sessions will provide an overview of content and searching as well as practical examples of how to use these databases for research. All academic, public and school libraries are welcome to sign up.
