Shareable Metadata Focus of Special Workshop
Library, museum and cultural heritage professionals need to know how to create, develop and use shareable descriptive metadata. Sign up for a special workshop, Metadata for You and Me, September 20 or 21, being held at the BCR Aurora (CO) offices, and learn to do just that.
Each one-day workshop will instruct participants on how shareable metadata can improve a user's ability to search fruitfully over large metadata aggregations and allow aggregators to leverage consistent, contextualized information to build focused services for specific audiences and needs. Participants will be provided with relevant materials and ample opportunity for hands-on activities.
Register to attend either the September 20 or September 21 session. Questions? Contact BCR's Regan Harper (rharper@bcr.org).
