Surfing Beyond Search Engines Focus of Colorado Conference
There's an ocean of online information out there, and you can't freeload all of it from Google. So grab your boards and let's go Surfing Beyond Search Engines!
This conference is designed for all public, school, academic and special library staff who want to know more about online databases. Be sure to catch the keynote, which will feature ways to market databases to your community and get patrons riding the big waves of databases in no time. And don't miss the sessions, which will teach you everything from how to make deals with the man to the elusive technology X-factor. There will also be plenty of time to study with the masters at vendor presentations and chill with other librarians as they share their database experiences. Plus, you'll have the chance to give AIRS feedback on the databases being considered for statewide trials.
Registration is only $25 and covers both days, including lunch. Register now at host.evanced.info/clicweb/evanced/eventsignup.asp?ID=24.
