Advance Ordering Now Available for NetLibrary eAudiobooks

NetLibrary has introduced a new program that allows libraries to place advance orders on forthcoming titles from NetLibrary's eAudiobook Purchase Program, providing libraries with titles their users demand at the earliest release date possible.

Fall 2007 eAudiobooks Now Available for Pre-order
The fall 2007 release schedule (September-December) includes more than 200 highly anticipated electronic audiobook titles featuring new releases, backlist favorites, the latest bestsellers, children's and young adult titles, plus award-winning authors in multiple subject categories. Participating publishers include Books on Tape and Listening Library.

A complete list of fall 2007 forthcoming titles now available for pre-order is posted on the OCLC Web site (in Excel format) and is also presented in TitleSelect. Go to www.oclc.org/netlibrary/offers/default.htm.

The advance order program will occur three times per year, every four months:

Fall: titles to be released September-December
Spring: titles to be released January-April
Summer: titles to be released May-August

Forthcoming NetLibrary eAudiobook titles will be announced up to three months in advance of NetLibrary’s release date. Libraries may visit the OCLC Web site to find the schedule of titles to be released. To ensure prompt delivery when titles become available, and thus availability to their users, libraries are encouraged to place orders for titles in advance of their release date. Libraries that place advance orders will not be billed until the titles are loaded to their NetLibrary account.
