OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing Enhancements Installed
In the September 9 installation, enhancements to the OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing service included the addition of new searching parameters to Closed Requests and the ability to view more requests in Request Manager categories in the WorldCat Resource Sharing service.
- New search parameters added to Closed Requests — The new searches include the ability to search by all of the following parameters: Author (au:); Borrowing Library (bl:); Call number (cn:); ILLiad transition Id (tn:); Lending Library (ll:); Patron Department (pd:); Request closed date (rc:); Request identifier (an:); RLG reference ID(rg:); and Title (ti:).
- Request Manager categories exceed 20 requests — A drop down box was added to Request Manger allowing users to view more than 20 records on a single screen. Users can choose from 20 (default), 50, 75 or 99 records per page. Once the selection is chosen, it remains persistent throughout the session. This is available for all categories of requests.
