Ask-a-Librarian New EBSCO Feature
EBSCO Publishing has added a new feature to its EBSCOhost database service. "Ask-a-Librarian" provides assistance to students or patrons right from the EBSCOhost Search screen or a link from a library's own home page. Easily customizable, "Ask-a-Librarian" allows users to request help from either a designated e-mail address or through the link set up on the library's Web page.
Currently available only on EBSCOhost, there is no additional charge for this feature. Instructions on setting up "Ask-A-Librarian" can be found at support.epnet.com/knowledge_base/detail.php?id=3008.
Other questions? The EBSCO support site supplies access to tutorials and support materials, including a variety of helpful Macromedia Flash tutorials, printable user guides and help sheets. Check out the Top Stories section to see what's new, and view the Release Information under the Support News button to learn about the latest new features.
