Free QuestionPoint 24/7 Reference Services Webinar Scheduled

OCLC QuestionPoint 24/7 Reference Services is offering a free, live Web information session on November 15 highlighting innovative ways that libraries are promoting their virtual reference services.

The webinar focuses on two innovative promotions, one on MTV developed by New Jersey's QandANJ, and the other on YouTube presented by Florida's Ask a Librarian service. Beth Cackowski, project coordinator of QandANJ, and Diana Sachs-Silveira, from Florida's Ask a Librarian service, will discuss these and other promotional activities, as well as answer your questions on what works, what doesn't work, and what they are doing to entice new users to library reference services.

The session will take place Thursday, November 15, 2007, 12 noon to 1 p.m. EST (10 a.m. Mountain Time). Register at www3.oclc.org/app/request/bin/request.asp?specialCode=QP07Nov15.
