NetLibrary Offering Free Live Web Sessions
NetLibrary has scheduled a number of free live Web sessions featuring topics designed to help libraries and their patrons get the most out of their NetLibrary collections, including using NetLibrary eAudiobooks, NetLibrary setup and administration and promoting and marketing NetLibrary to users.
Each session includes a 90-minute live Web presentation and the opportunity to participate via a conference call. Ask questions, listen to others' questions, and join in the discussion with the OCLC implementation specialist. Sign up for any or all of the Web sessions being presented.
- Using NetLibrary eAudiobooks — Overview and demonstration of NetLibrary eAudiobooks; getting started; essential resources for helping your users access e-audiobooks with ease; how to search and view e-books and e-audiobooks; how to create an end-user account; how to download e-audiobooks; and how to transfer e-audiobooks to an MP3 player.
Several sessions to choose from: October 31, November, 1, 6, 14 or 27 - NetLibrary Setup and Administration — Topics include how to get your library to success; loading MARC records; establishing a Remote Patron Authentication method; and using the NetLibrary Library Resource Center to pull circulation reports.
Sessions are on November 8, 13 and 29 - Promoting and Marketing NetLibrary to Your Users — Promotional tools and resources for marketing NetLibrary eBooks and eAudiobooks; how to use marketing materials; and how to develop a strategy to reach your patrons.
