OCLC Presents "The Power of CONTENTdm" Live on the Web

On November 13, 2 p.m. Eastern Time, OCLC will host a free live Web session examining how to create a centralized, user-focused digital repository that can be shared with the world. Guest speaker, Pat Vince, digital initiatives librarian at The Claremont Colleges (CA), will explain her success in creating a digital library using CONTENTdm Digital Collection Management software.

Vince will offer her personal insights and explain:

  • Why The Claremont Colleges chose to create an institutional repository that combines digital collections, archives, teaching materials and scholarly communications.
  • How they evaluated digital asset management software.
  • Faculty collaboration and how it is working for individuals unfamiliar with library operations.
  • The impact the new digital library has made on the user community.

You'll also see new enhancements in the recent release of CONTENTdm. Find out what's been added and what those additions mean for your digital collection initiative.

OCLC experts will join Vince and share all the ways to use CONTENTdm to develop and disseminate your digital collections.
