Visit BCR at Upcoming AASL and CAL Conferences
BCR is looking forward to visiting Reno, Nevada, for the American Association of School Librarians, October 26-28, and Long Beach, California, for the California Library Association Conference, October 26-29. BCR staff will be setting up an exhibit booth at each venue and hopes to have the opportunity to meet with librarians from every sector of the library community.
Visit BCR's Jay Ford at BCR exhibit booth #1139 at the AASL Conference. Learn about the many products and services BCR offers, particularly those that meet the needs of the K-12 library community, which can help organize resources and save money. BCR offers a wide selection of educational databases, including Britannica, LitFinder, LexisNexis, Oxford University Press and many more. Ask Ford for information about AWE Early Literacy Station, a new all-in-one computer station specifically geared to toddlers through second graders.
Gillian Harrison, BCR's manager for Marketing & Support, will staff BCR's booth #937 at CLA in Long Beach. She invites you to stop by and chat, ask questions and learn who we are and how we can help you better serve your patrons. BCR offers library promotion and productivity products such as Your Perceptions, resources to help you discover what your patrons really think. Or ask Harrison about CIVICTechnologies, whose services include GIS applications for library business patrons and community analysis for libraries. BCR also offers digitization training, discounts on reference databases and can help you with grants and special projects.
