Work Continues on Provider Neutral Records for Electronic Integrating Resources
The final recommendations from the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC) Task Force on Provider Neutral Records for Electronic Integrating Resources is available at www.loc.gov/acq/conser/ProvNeutforE-IRs-Sept-21-2007.pdf.
A policy outlining provider neutral records is envisioned to lead to fewer records representing the same remote electronic resource distributed by different providers.
