BioOne Enhances Current Collections

The BioOne reference database will be expanding to more than 100 publishers in 2008, as new content is added to the BioOne.1, BioOne.2 and BioOne Open Access collections. New journals have been selected based on a commitment to furthering bioscience research, ISI ranking, relevant research focus, international scope or appeal and not-for-profit status.

The new journals go live in the collections on January 2. An additional feature of this enhancement to the collection is that the new titles include two years of backfiles (2006 and 2007 in most cases). New BioOne.1 and BioOne.2 titles will be included in subscriptions to their respective collections. Open Access content is freely available to all users, irrespective of subscription.
