New WorldCat Resource Sharing Install Completed
On Sunday, December 9, OCLC completed the installation of several enhancements and fixes to the WorldCat Resource Sharing service, including the ability to create book straps and removable stickers. This streamlines the workflows of lending libraries by automating this process within the WCRS application. See BCReview - December 11 for more information.
This feature will only be available to lenders in the pending and in process categories. If there is a need to place this ability in other categories, OCLC will consider making that change based on user feedback received from its Regional Service providers and through OCLC Customer Support (1-800-848-5800 or +1-614-793-8682 or support@oclc.org). Video tutorials also are available.
