Documentation Update: March QuestionPoint Release

Document updates for the March QuestionPoint release are now available. Links to the updated or added documentation and descriptions of the changes can be accessed in the What's New area of the QuestionPoint Documentation page.

Updated or added items:

  • Review Your Transcripts Offline (PDF, Quick reference, 2008-03-04): Aid for requesting data in the Ask a Librarian (Ask) module that you can use to review transcripts and questions offline. Added to replace "Offline Reports in Ask" as part of reports simplification.
  • Review Your Transcripts Online (PDF, Quick reference, 2008-03-04): Aid for reviewing transcripts and questions online in the Ask a Librarian (Ask) module. Added to replace "Online Reports in Ask" as part of reports simplification.
  • Reports (PDF, Quick reference, 2008-03-04): Aid for viewing statistical reports available from the Reports tab on the My QuestionPoint page. Added as part of reports simplification.
  • Ask a Librarian (Ask) and Knowledge Base modules (Online help, 2008-03-02): How to use the Ask and KB modules. Updated "Review Transcripts and Service History Search" as part of reports simplification.
  • Flash chat (Online help, 2008-03-02): How to use Flash chat. Updated "Symbols that appear in Flash chat" to remove * (asterisk) and "Accept a chat request from a patron (Flash chat)" to remove * (asterisk) and add the Qwidget.
  • Home module and My QuestionPoint page (Online help, 2008-03-02): How to use the QuestionPoint Home module and the My QuestionPoint page. Updated "Reports" as part of reports simplification.
  • Chat: help for library patrons (2008-03-02): Online help for patrons using Chat or the Chat 2 (Preview). Updated to cover Chat (with viewport and preferences) in addition to Chat 2 (Preview).
  • Qwidget: help for library patrons (2008-03-02): Online help for patrons using the Qwidget (Preview). Added as part of the Qwidget.
  • Administration module (Online help, 2008-03-02): How to use the QuestionPoint Administration module to manage your library's account. Added "Create your Qwidget (QuestionPoint widget)," "Create your e-mail question form or chat form using Forms Manager," "Set up spam filters for your e-mail question form." Updated "Set up web form assignment," "Set up branding for your group's patron accounts and librarian accounts."
