Second College of DuPage Teleconference Coming November 21

The second College of DuPage teleconference is scheduled for Friday, November 21. Register now for the Library Challenges and Opportunities 2009 program, "Information Literacy for Life," and explore how school, public and academic librarians can "collaborate to create comprehensive information literacy programs that span a user's lifetime."

Libraries may downlink the satellite coordinates to the broadcast for on-site viewing, or staff may view the teleconferences via webcast from any location with adequate Internet access. The webcasts are archived and available for 30 days following the live broadcast. Libraries may order tapes or DVDs of the broadcasts for their collections for $30 each.

Register online for the satellite downlink or the webcast by completing BCR's online registration form. View the downlink site license terms on BCR's website. Downlink equipment information can be found on the BCR website. Once the registration is received by BCR, details about linking to the program will be sent out.

For a complete list of all teleconferences being offered, visit the BCR website. Questions? Contact BCR's Regan Harper at rharper@bcr.org.

This year, access to the College of DuPage teleconferences is available at no charge through the generous support of the BCR member state library agencies of Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, as well as the Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC) and the Utah Academic Library Consortia (UALC).
