Satellite Broadcast
A College of DuPage teleconference is a satellite-delivered live teleconference broadcast on C-band, analog signal (not digital). The satellite signal is not available on KU-band.
A "C-Band" satellite system suitable for downlinking College of DuPage satellite programs should consist of a motorized antenna 7.5 ft or larger, a 25° PLL LNB or lower and an analog C-Band receiver/antenna controller.
Webcasts
Accessing the webcasts in streaming video format requires a link (the URL) and software.
- Links — Two URLS (low bandwidth and high bandwidth) to access the broadcast will be emailed to registered sites one week before each teleconference.
These links will not be live until the morning of each teleconference. - Software — Windows Media Player (8 or higher) or a Macintosh version is also available.
