Downlink Site License Terms

Under the terms of BCR and your state library's agreement with the College of DuPage:

• Participating libraries are conveyed the right to record each program.
• Participating libraries are conveyed the right to make the videotapes available to:
  • Library patrons
  • Other BCR member libraries via interlibrary loan
• Simultaneous and delayed rebroadcast rights are included subject to approval by BCR. Sites outside the BCR region cannot be included in the rebroadcast. A participating library wishing to rebroadcast is required to:
  • Register directly with BCR (Contact Regan Harper: rharper@bcr.org)
  • Provide a list of sites that will receive the rebroadcast
  • Provide BCR with the number of people who viewed the program

• Satellite coordinates directly to registered downlink sites one week prior to each telecast
• Web-delivered collateral materials
• The ability for teleconference viewers to call in or fax questions during the broadcasts
• Tape recordings of broadcasts to registered libraries that experience technical difficulties
